Beginning a second inning

It’s Ganesh Chatuthi today, and what better day than today to begin something afresh. Traditionally as per Hindu mythology Lord Ganesha is the god who is worshipped before any venture is started. So I ask for Lord Ganeshas’ blessings for the siddhi’ (success) of my second innings in blogging.

Lord Ganesh

Second Inning you may ask, yes I have been blogging for a long time before this. My previous blog is located here. But then on fine day I realized I needed a break from blogging. And Microsoft didn’t really help, because it kept changing the URL of my blog so often.

Anyways, the second innings comes on my very own domain, with all the creative freedom which that brings. I have chosen to keep the key philosophy behind this blog the same, which revolves around ‘karma’. Hindus are strong believers in Karma, which means a sum of all that an individual has done is currently doing and will do. It is believed that your present is governed by what deeds you carried out in the past and your future is governed by the deeds you are doing in the present.  The Syn (in synkarma), this time is an extensible entity which can mean SYNergizing, SYNchronizing, SYNdicating et. al.

This blog will go through a metamorphosis in the coming few days, with more personalization etc. Besides this, I would also be bootstrapping this blog from time to time with some of my best posts from my previous blog on MSN Spaces. So look out for posts categorized as My Best Posts.

I hope you have a great time in reading and participating on my view points, my thought process and my ideas, as I go about on my mission to analyze the cycle of cause and effect.
